I Will Stop

When I decide "I will stop", it feels like a quiet promise I make to myself. It is not loud or dramatic. It is steady. It is serious. The moment I write "I will stop", I am choosing awareness 😊.

This "I will stop" words are gentle. They do not say, "I should have stopped long ago." They do not say, "I am terrible for doing this." They simply say, "From this moment, I choose differently." So, with that in mind, I have made a choice.. "I will stop" thinking of you!..😧. Huh!

So, I will stop thinking of you 😬. Not in anger. Not in pride. Not even in pain.. Just quietly... Sometimes, these weird thoughts come to mind but not so much intrusive thoughts that may disturbing or harmful.

Actually, for a long time, my thoughts have circled around you like birds that did not know where to land 😆. In the morning, I wondered what you were doing. At night, I replayed words you once said. I carried you in small, ordinary moments, such as when I saw the similar snack at the store, the same tasty ice cream, the familiar coffee taste, the pretty pink cherry blossoms that were very much alike, or when a song we both listened came on, when the sky looked the way it did the day we first expressed our thoughts, feelings or desires.

But today feels different...😳.

Today, I realize that holding on in my mind is not the same as holding on in real life. And, maybe I was never meant to keep you there forever. Maybe I was only meant to learn something. I do not see this as a loss anymore. I see it as a step!

I do not know what comes next. I do not know who I will meet or where I will be a year from now. But, I trust that what is meant for me will stay. It will not confuse me. It will not leave me guessing. It will come with peace.

So when thoughts of you try to return, I will gently let them pass. I will not fight them. I will not hold them close either. I will place them in God's hands and say, "Thank You for what was. Now lead me to what will be." This is not goodbye with bitterness. This is release with faith 🙏.

Therefore, I write this with a calm heart. Again, I will stop thinking of you. Not because I hate you. Not because I regret knowing you. And not because what we had meant nothing. It meant something real to me. It was honest. It was soft. It was important. But, I feel something changing inside of me.

For months, maybe longer, my mind has been full of you. I realized that somewhere along the way, my heart became too focused on you. I looked for comfort in your words. I looked for security in your presence. I waited for messages that would make my day better. Slowly, without meaning to, I placed you in a space that only God should fill. However, now I see that holding on in my thoughts is not helping me grow. But that is not your fault. It is just the truth.

Anyway, I do not see this as a failure. I do not see it as a broken story. I believe God is working in this, even if I do not fully understand how. Maybe this is not about losing you. Maybe this is about finding Him again. And, God is working even in the silence, in the space that feels empty. I believe He is not taking something from me without preparing something better for me. Maybe He saw what I could not see. Maybe He knew that my heart was growing too attached to something that was not growing back. I also believe that when God closes one door, He is not being cruel. He is protecting. He is guiding. He is shaping my future in ways I cannot yet understand. Or, maybe God is teaching me what matters most!

So, I will stop thinking of you and start thinking about the life God is preparing for me 😃.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me — practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. - Philippians 4:8-9

All things begin with Him. All love, all hope, all plans. And somehow, all things go back to Him too. He is the Creator. He sees the whole picture while I only see small pieces. If this connection is fading, maybe it is because He is redirecting me. Maybe He is clearing space in my heart for something stronger, something more steady, something that brings me closer to Him instead of distracting me from Him. Hence, I will stop thinking of you. Not with force. Not with anger. But with trust.

But, every time my thoughts drift back, I will gently remind myself that God is in control. If you are meant to stay in my life, you will. And if you are not, then this is protection. This is guidance. This is love in a different form 💗.

I believe He is shaping my heart. Teaching me that people are gifts, not foundations. Teaching me that peace does not come from another person, but only from Him. Teaching me that what truly matters is faith, growth and a heart that returns to its Creator. Maybe this is what maturity feels like 😅. Letting go without bitterness. Releasing without fear. Trusting without seeing the full path.

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. - Romans 8:5-6

So, again, I will stop thinking of you and I will start thinking more about God's purpose for me. I will let Him write the next chapter. I will let Him decide who stays and who goes 😍.

Because in the end, everything such as every love, every lesson, every goodbye leads back to Him. And that is where I want my heart to rest!

The “What If” Secret

Call me crazy, but lately, I've been thinking a lot about the "what if..."? 😲. It happens without warning, like my mind opens a door I didn't mean to walk through..😳.

It makes me thinking that this "what if" thing is just a small question, but it carries a lot of weight. It often appears in quiet moments, late at night, under my blanket, or sometimes when life slows down just enough for my thoughts to wander 😅. I mean, those quiet moments that make you pause just enough for your mind to wander into life's endless possibilities. It's simply something like, "what if" I had taken that job offer? "What if" I had said yes to that trip with friends? "What if" I had taken that different path, moved to a new city, or met someone I never met? "What if" things had gone differently? Or even something as small as, "what if" I had said yes instead of no?.. It's funny how small choices feel huge when you imagine their alternatives!

But sometimes, "what if" feels like a heavy cloud hanging over me, full of regret or missed chances, especially when I feel that "what if" is asking me about the paths that I didn't take or the ones that I'm afraid to try 😥.. Something like, "what if" I fail? "What if" everything goes wrong? "What if" things don't work out? "What if" I'm alone?.. Sometimes those questions sit heavy in my chest. Or, I often find myself thinking that "what if" I make the wrong decision? "What if" I fail this exam? "What if" I lose someone I love? "What if" my future is not good?..😨. All these thoughts usually come when everything feels uncertain.

Furthermore, it reminds me of missed opportunities and choices I didn't make. And yes, those thoughts can hurt, because I cannot go back and change them, and I begin to worry or anxious about the future. Therefore, life indeed is full of "What If" moments! 😱.

However, I don't think "what if" is all about regret. And also recently, I'm trying to let it be something else. It's more like curiosity, a quiet invitation to try, to take a small step forward, to see what happens if I act instead of hesitating. It's the mind's way of thinking or asking about something.

Although, it's heavy at times, it's also strangely comforting that somehow, life is full of possibilities, even if I can't see them all at once. It tells me that life isn't just a straight line. It's a web of possibilities, some taken, some left behind. And, even the paths I didn't choose shaped me in ways I might never fully know.

I'm starting to think that it doesn't have to be scary or stressful. It can be a tool to reflect, to learn from the past, and even to dream about the future. It's a reminder that I still have chances, every day, to create new paths, to take risks, and to grow 😊.

So, the "what if" actually has a beautiful side. It's the start of growth. Every meaningful change begins with a question like, "what if" I believe in myself a little more? "What if" I let go? "What if" this pain is shaping me, not breaking me?..😃. Furthermore, "what if" is not always negative. It can also be full of hope like, "what if" I start again? "What if" something good is still waiting for me?

Anyway, if we can see that "what if" as a choice between fear and faith, it may be something that sounds like as if faith reshapes the question, isn't it?.. Like, "what if" God is already there? "What if" I trust God completely? "What if" I start now? "What if" this delay is protection? "What if" God is using this to grow me? "What if" God is leading me somewhere better? "What if" God surprises me with something better than I imagined?...💗.

But, when it comes to feeling fear, the Bible reminds us to, "Do not worry about tomorrow".. It's not because tomorrow won't matter, but because God will still be God tomorrow. God invites us to focus on today and trust Him for tomorrow.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. - Matthew 6:34

So when "what if" shows up, we can pause and pray.., "God, I don't know what will happen, but I trust You with it." 🙏. In that moment, "what if" becomes less about fear and more about trusting God's presence and purpose!

But in life, we still often ask ourselves "what if...", don't you think? 😅. It's a question that usually comes from fear and uncertainty. Human beings cannot see the future, so worrying about "what if" is natural. Thus, I always remind myself that God already knows what I don't. I may not see the full picture, but He does.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. - Proverbs 3:5-6

So, when you can relate that "what if" with God, it helps bring peace to the heart. When a person believes in God, they learn to trust that everything happens for a reason. Instead of being afraid of "what if", they learn to say, "God knows what is best for me." This faith reduces fear and gives strength during difficult times.

God teaches people to live in the present and to trust Him with the future. While humans plan their lives, God guides their path. When someone places their worries in God's hands, that "what if" becomes a prayer instead of a fear. They understand that even if problems come, God will give them the strength to face them 🙏. And, I've learned that "what if" doesn't always mean something bad is coming. Sometimes it's a reminder to trust God more.

Thus, when I place my "what if" thoughts in God's hands, they turn into quiet prayers. I learn to take one day at a time, trusting that God will guide me, no matter what happens. Instead of letting "What If" paralyze me, I can surrender it to Him! 💗.

The "What If" can also become a source of hope. My "What Ifs" are not always threats. They can be openings to see God's goodness in unexpected ways.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

It's an invitation to rely on God more deeply. It tells me that I don't have to control everything, because He already holds the future in His hands. I can say that God's plan is better than my "what ifs" and that I can rest in His care.

In conclusion, the "What If" questions will always come, but I have learned that God is the answer. By trusting Him, drawing strength from Christ, and believing in His plan, my fears fade. Life is no longer worrying about "What If", but it's about walking with God, knowing He is faithful 🙏.

Well, yes, the secret? 😬..
I get to learn that, the "what if" secret in life is simple but powerful.
"What if" is not a warning. It's a doorway.
Most people treat "what if" as fear;
"What if" I fail?
"What if" I'm not enough?
"What if" everything goes wrong?
But the secret is this..
"What if" only has power when you stop there.
The moment you add action, it changes;
"What if" I try anyway?
"What if" this is how I grow?
"What if" the risk is worth it?
Life doesn't punish you for uncertainty.
It punishes you for staying frozen.
Another quiet truth;
The pain of trying and failing fades.
The pain of never trying lingers.
So the real lesson isn't to eliminate "what if".
It's to use it as fuel instead of fear.
Because one day the most dangerous question won't be..
"What if" it doesn't work?
But,
"What if" it could have... and I never tried?
That's the secret! 😯.

With This Ring

A ring fits on a finger, but its meaning has always been more than just a ring. It represents a journey shaped by love, sacrifice, and hope. It marks the beginning of a lifelong bond.💍💞..

So, let's go way bigger than a ring in this long, rich, story-style poem that feels chosen, intimate and timeless...😍, like it's speaking directly to one soul!..

More Than Just a Ring

Before there was a ring,
there was a moment-
quiet, unplanned, almost ordinary-
where the world tilted slightly
and somehow landed right.

It wasn't fireworks or grand promises.
It was a look that lingered half a second longer than it should have.
A laugh that felt like home before you knew why.
A feeling that whispered, pay attention... this matters.

We didn't fall in love all at once.
We learned each other slowly-
in shared silences,
in late-night talks that drifted from jokes to fears,
in the way your name began to sound softer in my thoughts
than any word I'd ever known.

I learned your storms.
You learned my shadows.
And instead of running,
we stayed.

That's when love became real.

So when people see the ring,
they see the shine,
the circle,
the symbol.

But I see the mornings before it,
when sleep still lived in your eyes
and I already chose you.

I see the hard days-
the ones no one posts about-
when patience mattered more than romance
and choosing each other felt like courage.

I see the small things:
the way you notice when I'm quiet,
the way I know your mood by how you say my name,
the way we became a language only we speak.

This ring isn't a promise of perfection.
It's a promise of presence.
Of showing up even when it's messy.
Of choosing love not because it's easy,
but because it's ours.

It's a promise to grow-
side by side,
not losing ourselves,
but becoming more because we're together.

Years from now,
the ring may scratch,
the shine may soften,
but what it represents will only deepen.

Because it's not the ring that binds us.
It's the thousand invisible threads woven long before it-
trust, laughter, forgiveness, hope,
and the quiet certainty that says:
If I had to find you in every lifetime,
I would.

If I had to choose again and again,
I'd still choose you.

So this isn't just a ring.
It's a chapter.
A beginning.
A reminder that love isn't something we found-

It's something we build,
every single day,
together.

Yes, we are not perfect.
We are real.
And real love doesn't shine-
it endures.

So if someday a ring rests between us,
let it be understood:

it is not the promise.
It is not the beginning.
It is simply a small, shining witness
to a story already written
in choice,
in time,
in us.

Well yes, it feels "deep"! 😅..

The ring may look like something small. Something simple enough to rest quietly on a finger. But, I think, it's more than just a ring. It's a promise shaped into a circle, holding everything that words alone could never fully explain. It carries the weight of love, trust and the decision to choose one person every day, no matter what life brings, together with a choice to stand beside one another not only in joy, but in struggle, growth and change. The ring is not the beginning of love, but the commitment to protect it 💗.

It's also a sign of reassurance. It is a silent promise that says, "You are not alone." It reminds us that love is not only found in grand gestures but in everyday actions such as checking in, listening, forgiving and growing together. It indicates the safety of knowing someone is choosing you even on the days when you feel unlovable or uncertain.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. - 1 Corinthians 13:7

The real value of the ring is not in its shine but in what it protects. It symbolizes loyalty, vulnerability and the courage to give someone your whole heart. It is worn on the outside, but it lives deeply within, felt in the way that two people support one another's dreams and face life as a team.

Thus, it's a reminder that love is intentional, strong and alive. While the ring may remain unchanged, the love it portrays continues to grow, deepen and evolve. It's a symbol of forever, built one day, one choice and one heartbeat at a time.

Anyway, when a ring is often seen as a symbol of commitment, love and unity, I can say that, it's all about reflecting the love of our God, don't you think?..😬. It describes a promise that goes beyond words, a visible sign of an invisible bond. Yet when we look deeper, the idea of "more than just a ring" can be powerfully connected to the love of our God. God's love, like the meaning behind a ring, is not found in outward appearances but in the depth of commitment, sacrifice and faithfulness it represents. While symbols like the "wedding rings" help us understand spiritual truths, God's love is far greater than any object could contain. Scripture reminds us that God's love is living and active, shown through His actions rather than mere words. God's love is revealed through sacrifice. He gave His Son for the salvation of the world. This love is not symbolic. It's personal, costly and eternal 🙏.

We love because he first loved us. - 1 John 4:19

The phrase "more than just a ring" also speaks to covenant. In marriage, a ring displays a covenant between two people, a promise to remain faithful in all circumstances. In the same way, God's relationship with His people is based on covenant. Throughout the Bible, God proves Himself faithful even when humanity falls short. His love does not fade, break or lose value over time. Unlike a ring that can be lost or damaged, God's love is unchanging and everlasting.

Furthermore, a ring is worn daily as a reminder of love and commitment. God's love functions in a similar way in the life of a believer. It surrounds us constantly, shaping how we live, love others and face challenges. God's love is more than a sign. It is a guiding force that teaches forgiveness, patience and selfless love. It calls believers not only to receive love but also to reflect it in their actions.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. - 1 Corinthians 13:4-6

In conclusion, "more than just a ring" reminds us that true love is not about what we can see, but about what we live out. Just as a ring points to a deeper promise, God's love goes beyond symbols and traditions. It's a love rooted in covenant, sacrifice and faithfulness, one that transforms lives and endures forever 💗.

Local Market Breakfast

It's purely about a warm and personalized local morning market breakfast story, written in a calm and reflective tone that we all can share daily. No heavy jargon, just a story to start the day! 😊.

The morning market wakes up before the sun. Early in the morning, the local market comes alive with people buying fresh food and vendors setting up their stalls and, it's already busy when we arrive! Sometimes, there's a moment like this that we all as a big family can come together for a morning breakfast at the local market. So, as we enter the local kopitiam shop, the owner or towkay will greet us cheerfully, while the air smells of fresh food. The air is filled with mixed aromas...😋. The smell of hot food, fresh bread, sizzling snacks, hot coffee and tea.., all nicely prepared by the drinks stall operator, independent food stallholders or hawkers, and local ethnicities, who operate various food kiosks like noodle, rice, bread and snack stalls, all working to serve customers with coffee and tea, as well as a wide range of local dishes.

Overall, the aromatic scent of the spices and freshly baked items can make the place feels warm and inviting 😍.

I can say that the local kopitiam shop is one of our favourite spots for the entire family to enjoy morning breakfast at the local market.

Every morning, the market feels fresh and lively, with small shops opening and people greeting each other with smiles. The smell of warm food fills the air and always makes me feel happy and hungry 😅. We usually buy bowls of hot noodles and plates of breakfast snacks with cups of coffee or tea or milk.

The food is always fresh because it is cooked right away and we enjoy watching the vendors prepare the food quickly and carefully. It tastes much better because it's warm, crispy and full of flavour. Eating breakfast together as a family makes our morning special. We talk while eating together and this makes the meal more enjoyable and relaxing.

Sitting on a wooden bench and enjoying our breakfast slowly, I realize the magic of a local market breakfast isn't just in the food. It's in the rhythm of life itself. The sights, sounds and smells merge into an experience that feels alive, intimate, and fleeting. It's a moment where the world slows down just enough for you to notice the simple joys..💗. The slurp sound of noodles, the crunch of freshly fried snacks, the aroma of spices in the air, the warmth of a cup of coffee or tea, and the shared smiles between strangers who for a brief morning, become part of a quiet, unspoken community...

There are even "other sights to see" in this same place. People come to buy and "tapau" or takeaway for food, asking to pack up their meal to eat later at home or at the workplace. People stop at a small stall and buy hot flatbread. The family with small children eating and sharing bowls of noodles together. Then nearby, a man pouring warm tea into tiny cups. People walking past each other, talking and laughing as the sun rises higher. Then, I think, it's something like.. "Don't just stick to the main spot; look around, there's more to discover!" 😂.. Because, the warm food and busy market make the morning feel alive and hopeful.

Although, I'm not always to having breakfast at the local morning market with my family every day, I think, every morning feels different when breakfast comes from the local market. For me, walking into the local kopitiam shop just after sunrise is more than a routine. It is a small celebration of everyday life, especially for some people who will stop by for morning breakfast every single day before they off to their workplace or go back home.

Well yes, there're people who every morning, their favourite ways to start the day are by visiting the local morning market for breakfast because, as they walk in, the air is filled with the warm smell of freshly baked bread, spices and sizzling food. They know that having breakfast at the local market isn't just a meal. It's a reminder of community, routine and the small joys hidden in everyday life 😃.

As we all finish our breakfast, the local market begins to grow busier. Trucks rumble in with fresh supplies, more vendors arrive with their offerings, and the sleepy street slowly transforming into the bustling center of town. I usually leave with a full stomach and a light heart, carrying with me not just the flavours of a simple meal but the story of a place where every morning, life and tradition meet in a delicate, fragrant symphony.

This breakfast is giving cartoon vibes 😆. It's so funny and cute! It gives a cheerful, playful, nostalgic or cozy aesthetic often seen in animation, encompassing cute characters with bright colours. it gives me energy for the whole day.. And, it even makes my nieces happy too! Eventually, they want to keep them! Not to eat them! 😂.

For all these reasons, our favourite morning breakfast is the one we truly enjoy at the local market. It's a good way to help to support the local vendors who work hard every morning.

Thus, having breakfast with family at the local morning market is a pleasant and enjoyable experience! 😍.

Jesus said to them, "Come and eat breakfast." Yet none of the disciples dared ask Him, "Who are You?"–knowing that it was the Lord. - John 21:12

So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs." - John 21:15

Simple Bread

It's just "simple bread" 🍞... And, a little story about mixing dough for a simple loaf of bread. The ingredients are just flour, water, salt, yeast.., and a little patience 😊. Nothing complicated..

It wasn't about trying to bake anything special. But, a desire for the kitchen to be filled with the warm promise of fresh bread 😍.

"Simple bread" usually means a basic, minimal-ingredient bread made from just flour, water, yeast (or sourdough) and salt. It's the most fundamental type of bread with no eggs, milk, sugar, or oils needed.

So, what makes it "simple"? Well, it's simple bread because :

~ Only a few ingredients.
~ Easy mixing and kneading.
~ No special equipment.
~ Suitable for beginners.
~ Results in a rustic, chewy loaf with a crisp crust.

Anyway, "simple bread" can mean slightly different things.., but yes, bread made from just a few whole-food ingredients can be healthy, depending on how it's made and your dietary needs.

When simple bread is healthy, if it contains only :

~ Whole-grain flour such as whole wheat, rye and spelt.
~ Water.
~ Salt.
~ Optional : yeast or sourdough starter.

Then, it usually provides :

~ Fiber (supports digestion, stabilizes blood sugar).
~ B-vitamins.
~ Minerals like iron and magnesium.
~ Slow-release carbohydrates for steady energy.

Thus, the whole-grain or sourdough versions are generally the healthiest 😃.

However, when simple bread might not be as healthy, or even "simple" bread can be less ideal if :

~ It's made from refined white flour (low in fiber, spikes blood sugar).
~ You eat it in large amounts and need to manage carbs (diabetes, PCOS, insulin resistance).
~ You have gluten intolerance or celiac disease (then you need gluten-free options).

The very healthy example is Sourdough whole-grain bread, because fermentation improves mineral absorption, digestibility and may help moderate blood sugar 💗.

So, yes.. Simple, minimally processed bread (especially whole-grain or sourdough) can be a healthy part of a balanced diet. The quality of the flour matters much more than the number of ingredients 👍.

Speaking of "healthy simple bread", it's interesting when there's some bread where is a type of sprouted-grain bread made from a combination of whole grains and legumes 😳. It's actually inspired by a biblical verse (Ezekiel 4:9), which lists the typical ingredients and usually contains :

~ Sprouted wheat.
~ Sprouted barley.
~ Sprouted millet.
~ Sprouted spelt.
~ Sprouted lentils.
~ Sprouted soybeans.

Now, I think you have noticed the differences in how the word "sprouted" comes into the ingredients.. So, why "sprouted"? 😯.

It tells us that, the grains and legumes are soaked and allowed to sprout before being ground into dough. Sprouting can :

~ Improve nutrient absorption.
~ Reduce anti-nutrients.
~ Make the bread easier to digest.
~ Increase certain vitamins (like B vitamins).

And the characteristics will be :

~ Dense, hearty texture.
~ Nutty, slightly sweet flavour.
~ Often sold frozen because it lacks preservatives.
~ Usually no added sugar.

So, "Is it healthy?".. You asked 😁.. As people nowadays are much more aware of healthy food and concern about eating right or healthy diet, many consider it a nutrient-dense alternative to typical whole-wheat bread because it contains a complete protein profile (all 9 essential amino acids), and all thanks to the grain-legume combination 😄.

Anyway, when I get to learn about the biblical verse in Ezekiel, it says..

"Also take for yourself wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet, and spelt; put them into one vessel, and make bread of them for yourself. During the number of days that you lie on your side, three hundred and ninety days, you shall eat it." - Ezekiel 4:9

The line "..put them into one vessel," which also means "..put them in a storage jar," is the method used to produce the "sprouted" grains and legumes before being ground into dough.

It basically means God's instruction to the prophet Ezekiel to make bread from a mixture of grains and legumes such as wheat, barley, beans, lentils, millet and spelt, that need to be soaked and allowed to sprout first (in a storage jar) before they are ground into dough.

So, "Does that mean God wants us to eat healthily?" You asked.. Or, "Does God gives us the healthy recipe now?" 😂.

Anyway, "What's this all about?"..😳. In the Bible, this special bread is part of a symbolic act showing what life will be like during the coming siege of Jerusalem. The mixed ingredients represent scarcity and hardship, meaning people will have to use whatever ingredients they can find just to survive.

In short, Ezekiel 4:9 shows the coming struggle and limited food the people will face during judgment.

Now we know that the bread referenced in Ezekiel 4:9 was made only because there were no other resources. And while it sounds healthy, is it? 😅.

In the original context of the Bible, Ezekiel 4:9 was not meant as a recipe for healthy food. Instead, God instructed the prophet to mix grains and legumes to represent the meager and mixed-up food that people would be forced to eat during a harsh siege and famine. The recipe of mixed grains and legumes symbolized the extreme scarcity of that time. The bread was not for its nutritional value or taste, but was a symbol of hardship. It's a call to endurance which the act of eating this simple bread for 390 days was a prophetic sign to the people of Jerusalem that they should be prepared for such difficult times.

But, apart from the real context of the Bible, the sprouted-grain bread made from a mixture of whole grains and legumes, giving you more protein, fiber and micronutrients is healthy. Although, in the Bible, the main idea was not about healthy food 😬.

Yes, it can be a healthy choice, but it's not perfect for everyone. Whether it's "healthy" for you depends on your goals, dietary needs and how you use it. And, it's also a very healthy option compared to many conventional breads, but it's not a "superfood" that automatically makes everything healthy. It means that you should think about how it fits into your overall diet, how much you eat, and whether its nutritional characteristics align with your goals.

Compared to other bread options available in conventional supermarkets, it's more digestible than regular bread and has no added sugar in many variants. Thus, it's excellent for those looking to maximize the nutrition content of their food choices, especially when it comes to bread.

Overall, it's a nutrient-dense, wholesome bread choice if it fits your dietary goals! 💗.

Sprouted Multigrain Sourdough, A Stunning Achievement

However, above all else, it's widely taught that all true health and healing ultimately come from God. He is the One as the ultimate healer and sustainer of life, who can heal both physically and spiritually through various means. I think, it's important to always remember that the Lord is our Healer and that His Word is our medicine.

I believe, speaking Scripture over our lives does wonders for us, but only because it comes from God to begin with.. Healing always starts and ends with Him! 🙏.

Bread With Stories

So, our bread stories...😅. But first, let me explain that this bread with story isn't about how to bake bread or, the journey of a bakery shop or, a business plan describing how a bakery grows over time, and so on... No, they really are not about all of these things.. They just happened to be unique and personalized stories around bread!

Well, there is one bakery shop that we used to visit to buy bread. Actually, we have chosen the same bakery place as our most favourite spot to hangout whenever the three of us (me, my mom and my sister) have the time.

But, "Why a bakery shop?".. You asked 😁. This bakery shop has a cozy cafe inside. While sitting and enjoying a light meal, the aroma of bread has always felt like a gentle embrace.., a warm, familiar and full of memory. It drifts through the air long before the loaf is ready, carrying with it the quiet promise of comfort. When I smell bread baking, the world seems to slow down. The scent is rich and earthy, with a sweetness that speaks of home, even if I'm far from it!

So, speaking of our favourite bakery shop in my hometown, it's definitely a lovely spot to talk about all things among the three of us.. Or, even sharing secret! 😆. As for me, it's always something about work. Things about how my daily work looks like and all sorts of happenings to keep me busy all the time! 😬. And, my sister, she always talks about her typical housework routine as a full-time housewife and how playful and cheeky her two daughters are! 😊. Finally, my mom, her stories will be full of memories. She will mention about all things that she remembered in the past such as marriage and family life, bringing a past event, our childhood memories, and how she will always feel grateful to be able to see and greet all of her granddaughters! 😍.

Somehow, it makes me thinking of another one story.. An entire story of a woman's life? 😂..

I think, the bakery shop plays an important part in our lives, because it gives us that special surroundings to enhance the relationships with family and friends by being able to communicate about personal passions and hobbies, being able to talk about life, work, education or health, and to discuss the pursuit of a sense of purpose that can contribute to happiness, well-being and a fulfilling life. I believe, there're many other things that can play an important role in life which contribute to a person's or a situation's overall outcome. So, in our case, it's the bakery shop! 😄.

The smell always reaches me first. The smell of the comforting mix of butter, sugar, and rising dough that slips through the cracks of the bakery's wall and out into the air. It's a scent I've known my whole life, one that feels like a gentle reminder that I belong somewhere.

As I have always loved garlic bread, it will always remind me of "the sweet smell of home". Because, as it baked, a sweet, warm smell drifted through the streets, reminding me of home!

Even now, whenever I pass a bakery, the scent pulls me in. It feels like a reminder of how something so small.., a smell, a moment that can awaken entire worlds of memory and feeling. The aroma of bread is more than just a fragrance; it's the beginning of our stories, the nourishment and the quiet beauty of everyday life.

And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, "Take, eat; this is My body." - Matthew 26:26

Anyway, bread has long been more than just food. It's a powerful symbol of life, faith and divine providence. Bread represents the sustenance that God provides to humankind and it holds deep spiritual meaning. When Jesus broke bread with His disciples at the Last Supper, He said, "This is my body, which is given for you." From that moment, bread became a symbol of His sacrifice and of God's ongoing presence in the lives of believers through the act of Communion.

Give us this day our daily bread. - Matthew 6:11

Bread also reminds us of our dependence on God for our daily needs. In the Lord's Prayer, the line "Give us this day our daily bread" reflects both physical and spiritual nourishment. It acknowledges that all sustenance, material or spiritual comes from God's grace.

We know that the act of sharing bread connects people, fostering unity and gratitude. When we break bread together, we remember that God's blessings are meant to be shared.

Thus, bread, in its humble simplicity, becomes a sacred reminder of life, love and the divine care that sustains us all 🙏.

I Find Random Things

It will likely not be a serious thing but, it's all about random things that just appear in between, happen to be in the middle of my usual or ordinary work 😅.

You may think, well that's crazy!.. But, the truth is, to my surprise, there're things happen so randomly 😳. Sometimes, I can't even relate about the "randomness" that happened especially when your mind has fixed with your routine work schedule. But then, in the end, I find that the things occurred so random in between my daily work are really fascinating!

Actually, there are few things happened while I'm working that I find to be different and interesting. It's all about these things that are not going to be happen everyday but, if they do happen, they're so random! 😲.

So, I'm going to mention about the things and how they're suddenly appear without warning. It's something that spontaneously occurs when you're least expecting it. And so now, they're the things just like these...;

Huge Umbrella

I can't really remember and unsure of what significant events that has caused the company gifted a huge red umbrella to everyone...😬. I really don't know what makes the company has the idea of an umbrella to give away... From what I know, umbrellas are commonly gifted by Insurance company, banks or financial institutions or as corporate gifts. And, now also gifted by our healthcare company?...😐. To me, it is rare! 😳.

Anyway, we're receiving huge umbrellas from the company which is good! 😃. So, when I receive my umbrella, I'm really surprise because it's so big and red! And, the stick is thick and strong too! 😁. Suddenly, it reminds me about my old umbrellas where all of them had broken due to the strong wind 😆. I remember that mostly the stick breaks into two and, I think that such breaking of stick or shaft is understandable, when I say... Yes, the wind is so strong and powerful! And, I'm not surprise because, well yes again, we're living in a country that always has monsoon seasons throughout the year. Thus, heavy rain with strong wind is a must! 😂.

So, thinking back to my broken umbrellas, I should be thankful enough to have gifted a strong umbrella especially during rainy season..😊. Sometimes, I do think that well yes, I do really need this huge umbrella (that when I open it, until I cannot see my face and my upper body) with strong stick or shaft (that it will not easily break) for protection from the heavy rain and strong wind 👍. And, hopefully I'm not "flying" just like Mary Poppins during monsoon season! 😅.

Drinking Tumbler

So, we receive a special drinking tumbler from the company as a gift on the special day! 😍. I think, it's a good idea when the company literally knows something which is beneficial to all staff. You may be thinking that a drinking tumbler to give away as a gift is the most common gift to be given away... But, when I receive my drinking tumbler, eventually it makes me thinking that there're times you need to do a lot of work and then, there're times you need to have your drinking tumbler to refresh! 😄. It basically means "balance". We tend to struggle to balance work and take a break. So, whenever you feel life is generally packed with work, just remember your drinking tumbler in between the hours of work!.. It simply means your tumbler reminds you to...

~ Just have a nice drink!
~ Just have a good coffee!
~ Just have a little chat!
~ Just take a rest!
~ Just take a nap!

And I think, these are "the things" that come to mind whenever I see my drinking tumbler where they're literally about "these things" as the useful gifts that come from the idea of a drinking tumbler as a special gift!

Noodle Snack

It has been a while since I last ate snacks 😂. I mean, we seldom have the time for snacking while working, actually.. But, I don't know why that me and my colleagues had time for late night snacks while working on night duty together on that particular one night... And then, I realise for a moment, that night was a bit slow and calm. It was not a busy night as it used to. It felt like as if that this noodle snack seemed to has given us a chill night instead! 😆. And then, suddenly, a funny thought came to mind and it told me, "Hey! You know this Mamee snack costed RM 0.50 back then. But now, it's like RM 2.50 for one packet?" 😂. But then, I asked, "Why are you telling me about the price while I enjoy eating it now?" 😅... Instantly, I come to remember about this Mamee snack!.. When I was younger, I used to call it a "Monster Snack" 😬. Eventually, it became my favourite childhood snacks! 😋. They were popular during my school days. My mom always bought me some of the snacks whenever she went to the grocery store. Or, I just bought it myself from the school canteen for only RM 0.50 cents!

However, it's still my favourite snack until today. And, it does really bring all the childhood memories back in mind and, it all happens so random! 😲. For a moment, I realise that the blue monster is still looking cute to me... So, while enjoying the snacks, why not just forget about the work for a while?

Pair Of Crocs-like Clogs

I think, I used to wear clog all the time!.. We wear clogs for those long shifts and it's no secret that nurses spend long periods walking the wards, so, to ensure long-term comfort and to avoid foot pain are crucial to doing our job to the best of our abilities 😊. Well, the funny thing is, I used to wear Crocs. Suddenly, it turned into a Crocs-like clog 😂. We're allowed to choose from one colour up to three colours only for a pair of clogs... So, for my clog, I get a pair of Crocs-like clogs with two colours. Well, it's still fine with me for the white colour... And then, pink? 😳. Thus, I get the white and pink clog? 😂. I don't know whether the combination of these two colours clog suits my green colour scrub suit.. So, I have white, pink and green altogether. But then, my socks 😬. They're socks come with other colours that are orange, grey and black...

So now, it makes me thinking that it's not only three colours now but even more than three colours! I have white, pink, orange, grey and black colours...😆. Eventually, I come to think that I will have colourful feet! 😅.

Antiphlamine S Lotion

Now I think, this one is really funny 😆. I actually come across to this, a topical analgesic lotion from Korea! It uses to relieve pain associated with joint pain, neuralgia, muscle pain and bruising. It was brought by one of the colleagues for everyone to use! 😁. Suddenly, random thoughts come to mind, saying that... Well yes, we're all getting old 😂. There is too much busyness at work that sometimes there're people who keep telling you that they have neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain, waist pain, knee pain, leg pain... And, all the pain from time to time becomes more evident when we getting older. To be honest, I have experienced all of the pain. It just that when it happens almost all together at the same time, that the worst part because it can contribute to fatigue!

Thus, my colleagues and I have to constantly remind each other that we must keep our own view onto our health. It's not only that the patients who have pain or get sick but also we ourselves, having pain or fall sick, too 😥. We are all human beings. And yes, human beings experience pain. Therefore, we need to remind ourselves to always taking care of our body and health!

Actually, there're these small little things that come suddenly and happen to be so random in between of our daily lives. And, most of the time, it feels weird and funny, or crazy, but sometimes you never know how these things happen to be something that can open up your mind or, open up your eyes to understand something, to realise about the truth of something, to engage with the differences and new experiences about something, and so on in our daily lives.

It seems that they're small and random but they can bring a huge and prominent impact in life! However, above all these things, our lives are in the hand of God. God is sovereign. Life is not random. God is in control of what happens, even if we can't figure it out 🙏.

The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the Lord. - Proverbs 16:33

All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. - John 1:3

Love In The Bible

I was just scrolling on my phone and I randomly was browsing websites, reading articles and stories... Then suddenly, I came to read poetries! 😅.

The funny thing was, I read several various types of poetries but the ones that I got hooked on were about the love poems 😳.. And, well yes.., I thought, it was crazy! 😬.. But then, there was something deep about those poetries that portrayed a significant difference between a "common love" and "heaven love".

Sometimes, poetry plays important role in helping us to understand and appreciate the world around us. Poetry encourages people to put words to feelings that we can't otherwise describe. I always admire how a poet can study and create poetry. Especially now, when a particular poet able to convey a great sense of essential truths about the heavenly love.

I think, most people today know for sure about poetry is that a poem is something made of words. The poetry's strength lies in its ability to shed a "sideways" light on the world, so the truth sneaks up on you. No question about it. Poetry teaches us how to live and helps us to be more awake, more aware, more alive...

Soon after I have read those great poetries about love, then suddenly a topic came to my mind that said, "Love In The Bible"..😯. At that moment, I was surprised and without doubt I was thinking that, "How come I can see the topic, even though I haven't figure out the content?".. Well yes again, it was weird! 😵.. But, like I said, those poetries resonated deeply not just about love but, an unconditional heavenly love! 💗.., that which was only be found in reading the Bible. There were many love stories in the Bible but, it was only the Bible could teach us about heaven love. So, I thought I should mention more on the topic of heavenly love instead, when I first came to realize, that topic of "Love In The Bible" which suddenly popped up in my mind that time was prominently about heaven love or, which "that kind of love" that only the Bible could really teach us about true love.

Anyway, I would love to share those poetries on here later on... But first, speaking of the love in the Bible, it does have some racy love poetry in Song of Songs, stories about loving relationships and marriages between people. But we don't see relationships that look like modern dating...😅. No boyfriends and girlfriends, no partners (in the way we think of romantic partners today), and no diamond rings and elaborate marriage proposals. Well yes, there are stories of loving relationships in the Bible that will help us get to the heart of romantic love.., not the popular expectations surrounding modern romance, but the essence of true love.

Thus, I'm truly amaze of how a poet can express the necessary truths about true love. To me, it seems that it's best to describe those feelings and the truths through poetries. So, I'm going to share some poetries which I do really enjoy reading them and also, I do hope that they will inspire you as well as do teach us about the meaningful lesson on heaven love, unconditional love, true love...💞.

And with that, I would like to share poetries created by notable poets... So, I will link their good creations to the websites.. And, all credit goes to each one of them and their original contents or websites 🙏...

Ordained & Blessed

Ruth was not dressed to look flirty;
in fact, she was probably sweaty and dirty.
But let me also mention
that she did not have to struggle to get Boaz's attention.
She did not have to put on a show
because the Lord had revealed her spiritual glow.
So even though she was not looking her best when she was first seen,
the Lord showed Boaz a woman who was spiritually clean.
And Boaz did not need to impress her with a Harley
and she loved his character more than his wheat or barley.
Yet it took Naomi for Ruth to make the first real move
in way that the Lord surely did approve.
Ladies, when a man is interested in you,
there is very little that you have to do.
If you let him know he is someone you adore,
you should not have to do any more.
Chasing after a man will make you look crazy,
or if he likes you, then do you really want a man who's lazy?
Ladies, some of you are still single
because the Lord sent your "Boaz" but you would not mingle.
When your "Boaz" is ready for romance,
he may need a sign from you before he takes a chance.
You may be having dreams about him and you hope that one day he will propose,
yet you push him away by turning up your nose.
"Boaz" is a gentleman through and through,
so out of respect he will stay away from you.
Just like you, "Boaz" is not out there dating,
especially because you're the one for whom he's waiting.
"Boaz" is not interested in trying the dating life;
he's only interested in pursuing his God-ordained wife.
Ruth and Boaz's story had a happy ending
because they recognized the signs and stopped pretending.
It did not start because of how Ruth looked or was dressed,
she was a beautiful woman inside, and their relationship was ordained and blessed.

God Is Love

Oh man! This is an ego bruiser.
The sweet taste of victory makes me feel like a loser.
The enemy has been thoroughly defeated,
but this is a case of history that should never be repeated.
This is a case of serious internal pains
caused by the cancer of ill-gotten gains.
I went from basking in the glory of countless sums
to barely surviving on breadcrumbs.

I had a choice to do wrong or right,
but I chose the former because I thought God would keep it out of sight.
And now that the case has been disposed,
the Lord left me naked with my dirty deeds exposed.
I'm not even sure if I should weep
because I knew that the Good Shepherd takes care of His sheep.
He's what David put in his sling; He's the Rock!
I saw what He did to Goliath and I shouldn't have touched His flock.
He has taught me a lesson I won't soon forget
so I'm changing my name to "Regret".

I should've known better than to try to scam
someone who was chosen by 'I AM'.
Yet, despite my deceit, He reduced my sentence,
because "God is love" and He honors repentance.
I wish He would've taken my last breath,
but instead, He mercifully chose to love me until my death.
The Lord is giving me a chance to regain my dignity
because repentance unlocks a powerful gift as a result of His sovereignty.

So now I ask for everyone's forgiveness and please don't hold a grudge,
my only taste of victory is because the Lord is a merciful judge.
Some will say justice was not served,
but we are blessed that we didn't always get what we truly deserved.
Even though a sinner, it's plain to see
that despite our sins, we can say, "God still loves me."
He is not a distant God in heaven above,
He's also within us; God is love.

Inseparable Love

Temptations... trial... much the same, may come in many forms
Designed to try and test our faith; the Christian life transforms
A heavy heart, because of them, will only last a while
Threats, sickness, persecutions; Satan works with guile.

The current of this world is strong, but stronger still, our Lord
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ; shall sword...
Or tribulation, famine, peril, nakedness, distress?
Neither death, nor life, nor powers shall cause us to regress.

Nothing in this world can separate us from His love
For we are more than conquerors through Him who sits above
If you're not persuaded, you can read it in God's Book
Paul and Peter told us clearly; why not take a look?

Robert Fultz - January 22, 2018

"I Still Love You..."

Jesus is with you through thick and thin.
He was even there when you committed your most regrettable sin.
Don't take this as a surprise,
He did not turn His head or cover His eyes.
He did not leave the room to sit and wait by the stairs,
But He used His pierced hands to wipe His tears.
When you were finished, you were filled with shame
But He hugged you and tearfully said, "I still love you the same."

If you wonder why the Lord still treats you like a winner,
He doesn't love sin but He still loves you, the sinner.
There's something else that's for sure,
He wants you to repent and sin no more.
The sinful things you do (even on a whim),
Don't just hurt you, they also deeply hurt Him.

He gave up His life, once and for all,
And now that He is risen, He will never fall.
Jesus' love does not come with a lot of demands,
But He said, 'If you love Me, keep My commands.'

Sometimes Love...

Sometimes love can be quiet
And sometimes love can be still,
But always love is patient
And is a choice of our will

Sometimes love can be vibrant
Sometimes it's not easily felt,
But always love is eternal
And is never boastful or proud

Sometimes love can be tender
Then sometimes hard to express,
But always love is truthful
And believes in the very best

Sometimes love can be exciting
And love can sometimes be sweet
For love is always trusting
And chooses never to envy

Sometimes love can be painful
Then sometimes love's like a song,
But always love is forgiving
And keeps no record of wrongs

Sometimes love can be gentle
Then sometimes it's just a word,
But always love protects and hopes
And love is always preserved

Love is never self-seeking
And is never angered or rude
Love can never fail us,
For God's love is faithful and true.

A Christian Love Poem based on 1 Corinthians 13:4-8; Christian Poem relating to God's Unconditional Love

💗 💗 💗 💗 💗

In conclusion, the poetries have explored and emphasized the importance of heavenly love or the love in the Bible. Thus, in all our relationships, romantic and otherwise, may we look to God or Jesus and his ultimate example of what it means to love another person 😊.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. - John 3:16

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8

Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends. - John 15:13

Let all that you do be done with love. - 1 Corinthians 16:14
