Pale Looking Hands

If I want to make it a story 😅... I notice that my both hands look pale, or sometimes white as a sheet of paper... I probably will just ignore it. But, it happens that pale looking hands occur more often lately.. It happened more than once! 😳.

I do not know if that pale looking hands are a sign of fatigue or lethargic, but I do feel that it happens when things get really busy or when I begin to sense my body feels unwell, sluggish or tired. My both hands are pale as if there is not enough blood supply or no blood flow to my hands! 😨. It appears that the vasoconstriction of blood vessels is directing blood to flows back mainly to the heart and other vital organs in the body rather than circulating blood to the extremities of the body, such as the hands and feet. (Well, the things that I learned from books... The theory..😬).

Furthermore, if my hands stay pale for a longer time, my fingers start to feel tingling and then numbness...😥. And, when this happened, I know that the blood supply to the nerves is being cut off... I notice that it's usually happens while I'm working... And, I will take some time to just put my both hands under running warm water at the sink although I do not feel my hands are cold 😧. Or sometimes, I will just move or shake my hands or, walking around or, touch or do things around with my hands... Then, after a while, my both hands and also the palms of my hands slowly turn back to their natural colours that are light red or pinkish in colour.

But somehow, there are times I do encounter my hands look better, at least.., even though they still seem to be looking slightly pale and I still can't see that pinkish colour of my palms too...😅.

Anyway, speaking about the hands... Our hands are one of our body's main tools. They are capable of a variety of functions like touching, feeling, holding, caressing, gripping, manipulating things... And so much more. They are an important part of who we are, how we live our life each day and how we see ourselves.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might, for there is no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are going. - Ecclesiastes 9:10

They shall not build and another inhabit; they shall not plant and another eat; for like the days of a tree shall the days of my people be, and my chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands. - Isaiah 65:22

Now I think, this time my hands look healthy and my palms are back to their natural light red in colour 😃. And, they can be looking this good and pretty while I'm still at work! 😜. But, whenever I see my hands turning pale in between, I tend to remind myself to just slow down a little bit... Sometimes, I do get spoil myself when things get busy or, I may be feeling so overwhelmed by a hectic fast-paced working environment.., and that I'm using my hands way too much? 😅, and hence probably is a sign to take things slow. Or, it's probably something that to tell you to taking care of yourself when things get really tough or hard.

And, at the same time, I'm thinking that there is someone who is willing to share your task... So, why not just be honest with ourselves, and do everything in love for His glory and not for man?
