My Little Old Friends

I really didn't expect that I met my longtime little friends in the supermarket on that day!..😅.

I was just doing some shopping with my brother when I suddenly stumbled upon my little 2 old-time friends that were being displayed side by side at the snack area? 😳.. I found only the 2 of them, with the others too? And, they were all the same!.. Huh?

So, I was holding the 2 little friends of mine in my arms 😂. And, to be honest, they were so cute! And actually, they were the Doraemon and the Mickey Mouse! 😆.

Well yes, I was truly surprised because I never thought that they were still existed until to this time for I knew that these 2 little friends were actually well known during my old generation time. I remembered that they were both famous when I was in primary school and eventually they became my little best friends 😁. But then, I was amazed to have met them again after a long time when I'm older now.. :)

Anyway, I felt funny when suddenly they both reminded me about my mom too because in fact, my mom was also a fan!.. Yes, she was a longtime fan of Doraemon! 😂.. I still remembered clearly that me and my mom would watch Doraemon in our old television in the late evening while we were having dinner time. And, when I was a kid my mom knew that I would watch from the dining table while eating!.. And, the thing that my mom found so fascinating about was the high-pitched sound or voice made by the cartoon characters themselves, especially Doraemon and Nobita! 😅. Sometimes, she even mimicking the Doraemon's high-pitched voice at our dinner time! 😂.

Since my 2 little old friends were so adorably cute, eventually I bought the 2 of them for my nieces. Hence, I purchased 2 Doraemons for both nieces but, no Mickey. Because, sometimes you would have to be "smart" when buying something for the children. The things that you wanted to buy had to be exactly the same! 😄. So, I only could take either 2 Doraemons only, or 2 Mickeys only and, that was it! Well, that was the simple "rule" that I learned from their mother actually, when buying whatever things for my nieces 😅. Thus, I chose 2 Doraemons instead of Mickeys!

Actually, I didn't want to make things complicated that might cause them to fight over things.. Therefore, I took exactly 2 Doraemons for my 2 lovely nieces!

I thought that the 2 Doraemons were just cute, simple and small little things, but when the children knew about their 2 small "friends", they were very excited! And, they were even happy and thrilled to have found some pretty jelly candies inside the Doraemons. Actually, there were cartoon character's faces drawn on each candies, and I was astonished that my nieces knew the name of the other characters so well apart from the name Doraemon himself! 😲.

Well yes, it was likely a one way of attractive and fun marketing strategies which I was not complaining, 😬 but still I was amazed when my famous and well-known little Doraemon and his friends during my old time generation were still prominent and popular even until now among today's younger generation too! 😮. And, they loved Doraemon! 😆.

O Lord, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me. But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me. - Psalm 131:1-2

We knew so well that children liked to play and had fun. Sometimes, I was surprised whenever little kids found joy in things they did even in simple smallest things. They were likely the most happy little beings regardless of how big or how small the things were as long as they enjoyed them and still knew how to had fun. They were simply innocent and pure in heart! But, when they had no fun or no play after, they would easily get bored 😅.

But, when my nieces found things seemed to be no fun and boring, their mother would say, "Okay. So, let's go swimming then!" 😂.. Anyway, you didn't have to rent a swimming pool, or an apartment with swimming pool each time, actually 😬.., but as long as you had a good size of a plastic inflatable swimming pool filled with water inside was more than enough! Because, the children would love it so much!

The Kakak Dan Adik Time

Thus, this time the kakak and adik were swimming in their little pool filled with water just in front of the house porch during hot days! 😂..

And surely this time, I didn't go swimming with them as their little pool was not big enough! 😅😂.. But, still they were having a fun time!
